Plot:
Sara was diagnosed with some sort of illness. She goes through therapy and looses her hair. but she is scared no one will like her. a line in the song says "it would be a mistake for someone to take, a girl with no hair to the prom"  Then a boy does take her to prom and he shaves his head to look like her. And she loves him. its great!!

there is a boy and a girl with a secret love, because the dad doesn't like the boy. its the worst!! then he doesn't come for a while and she gets sad :( but he shows up with a ring and has the dads approval and they get to get married! so happy!

Theme:
I think the theme is a couple of things. first of all love. in the end love wins. and the other is not giving up. they have to keep trying for what they want. at the end she nearly gives up. it says "i got tired of waiting" but she didn't give up. and now they get their happily ever after!! wohoo!!
